2026-27 Reflections Theme Search Entry
The search is on for a future Reflections theme! Help National PTA pick the theme that will spark fun and creativity for a future Reflections program! The student who submits the final winning entry for National PTA will receive a $100 prize. We’re looking for the most original theme ideas. This means past themes and duplicate submissions will not be considered.

2023-24 LAPTA Contests Winners
Congratulations to the Louisiana PTA winners of the 2023-24 Reflections Program, Kiki's Red Ribbon Poster Contest, and the Reflections Theme Search. There are 126 winners who will each be acknowledged at the LAPTA Annual Convention and Recognition Ceremony in Natchitoches, LA on April 20, 2024. The program is at the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts at 715 University Pkwy, Natchitoches, LA 71457. Here are the winner lists for Reflections, Kiki's Red Ribbon Poster Contest, and Reflections Theme Search which are posted below.
LAPTA asks the Local PTA Unit leaders to contact their winners. Each winner receives two free tickets to the LAPTA Annual Convention and Recognition Ceremony. Share the LAPTA Invitation with the student winners.
Additionally, attendance at the LAPTA Annual Convention (state meeting) for Local PTA Unit officers is required as specified in the Bylaws.
LAPTA Contests
LAPTA has wonderful and fun contests for Local PTA Units. Kiki's Red Ribbon Poster Contest emphasizes drug prevention. The Reflections Theme Search for 2025-26 needs students to submit original theme ideas. The Reflections Program has all details at LouisianaPTA.org/reflections.
National Fire Prevention Week is October 6-12, 2024. LAPTA is doing a Safety Poster Contest where students can draw and color a Fire Safety Poster on regular 8½ X 11 white paper. The contest is open to Pre-K through Grade 6, plus Accessible Arts Category (Students of all ages with an ADA Section 504.) The 2024 theme is posted at nfpa.org/FPW by late June. Louisiana PTA will award three Awards of Merit winners and three Awards of Excellence winners per Grade Category.
Fire Safety Poster Contest

Help pick the theme that will spark fun and creativity for a future National PTA Reflections program. The theme will inspire students to create works of art in six categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. Past themes and duplicate submissions will not be considered. The past list of themes can be found at the bottom of the submission form page linked below.

National PTA has a long-standing commitment to arts education. The Reflections program provides opportunities for recognition and access to the arts, which boosts student confidence and success in the arts and in life. Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art. This 50+ year old program helps them explore their own thoughts, feelings, and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence, and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful.
