Live Training Courses Start Wednesday!

The training courses available on Microsoft Teams start on Wednesday, Sep 10. All courses are offered at two times for your convenience and will (hopefully) be recorded. More courses are coming soon. Who Wants Free Money?

National PTA is BEGGING PTAs to apply for grants. OK, maybe I'm exaggerating but only a little. Louisiana has had zero applications submitted as of 9/9/25. PLEASE take the few minutes to apply, even if your PTA has oodles of money. It's super easy, deadline is September 24 (just 2 weeks away), apply here, and find more information at PTA.org/grants.

BONUS -- EVERY High School PTA/PTSA that applies for a National PTA grant is GUARANTEED to receive $100 even if you don't win the grant!

Submitting Dues to LAPTA on Givebacks

There is a new process this year for PTAs to submit dues to LAPTA. This is done by logging on to npo.Givebacks.com. Only the President and Treasurer have authority to do money transfers. However, a PTA could decide to give access to an additional person such as the Membership Chair by giving them the required position title in Givebacks.
